What Are Field Tokens?
Field Tokens are small, NFC-enabled oak-leaf artifacts that bridge physical presence with a living digital map. A single tap logs a moment and contributes to a shared archive of outdoor memory.
Same symbol, two roles.
Two Kinds, One Ecosystem
- Personal Field Token: Pocket-size, companion-enabled. Tap it to mark a sunrise, complete a ritual, or quietly note, “I was here.” Your key to personal land memory.
- Steward Field Token: A larger, site-installed marker at trailheads or landmarks. Visitors tap, log presence, unlock stories, and support on-site stewards; lightweight, low-cost, high-impact.
One walks. One waits. Both witness.
Why Oak?
The oak leaf is a symbol of strength, endurance, and deep roots. These tokens aren’t gadgets; they’re quiet, lasting artifacts of presence, built to weather field, trail, and time.
